Blinkd is a platform for closed circuit, self-destructing, media driven group discussions. Users create a profile, build a network from their phone's address book, then host broadcasts in the form of photos or videos. Each broadcast becomes a temporary chat room that disappears after a predetermined period of time.
Blinkd offers a more intimate space for virtual interaction than traditional social media outlets since its flexibility allows for any level of privacy and anonymity. It encourages candid and momentary discussion where content fades from existence rather than sitting in a permanent time capsule.
In addition to the user experience and interface layouts, this project includes 68 unique icons and all original photography.
