CHRONICLE - THE STORY OF OMEGA

Since 1848, Omega has been involved in some of the world's greatest events. The Chronicle brings together these pieces of history in a unique timeline that is able to evolve as the company does by adding more stories as they go. Omega's history is not static - they're constantly exploring new technologies and supporting new social endevours. This resulted in a cross-platform campaign consisting of a book, a 12min documentary to be used in their new museum and, thanks to Random Studio, the Chronicle is also online. Using Google Maps makes the experience accessible on all browsers and devices - adding the possibility of sharing the stories on social sites. Supporting this, Omega also released their story - in chronological order of course - over instagram, twitter and Facebook. Enjoy.

The Chronicle title used on the poster, film, book and site was designed by Martijn Riven.
It's a bespoke, decorative version of Omega's corporate typeface.
- BOOK -
The book gets updated biannually and can be found at Omega Boutiques.

- SOCIAL -
The history of Omega unfolds in chronological order over Instagram and other sites.

If you're interested in seeing the full documentary film please email info@thealphastudio.net for special access. It's well worth it.
This project is unique in the fact that it involves many commited people inside and out the company, spaning a period of years to develop - and it isn't finished yet! Thanks to everyone who made this project possible!
