Within a tight 17-day schedule, I crafted an animated advertisement for POLA, employing a 3D-rendered-2D technique with hand-drawn textures, delivering a minimalist yet sophisticated visual experience for mature women. Through the advancement of technology and aesthetics, I created dynamic visuals that blend a retro charm with a modern flair. 
在17天的紧凑档期内,我为POLA完成了一则动画广告,采用三渲二技术与手绘材质,为成熟女性带来简约而精致的视觉体验。通过技术与审美的精进,创作出既有复古韵味又不失现代感的动态画面。 
Overview 概述
This marks my second animated advertisement for POLA. Previously, I utilized After Effects and Photoshop to produce an ad with an illustrative feel, which was simple and refreshing. This time, I adopted a 3D-rendered-2D technique combined with hand-drawn textures, preserving the illustrative quality while infusing the visuals with more dimensional lighting and smoother dynamics. 
第二次为POLA制作动画广告,上次采用了After Effect与Photoshop结合制作插画感广告,简约清新。这次采用了三渲二技术结合手绘材质的方案,在保留插画质感的同时给画面赋予更立体的光感与更自然流畅的动态。

The brand primarily targets mature women, demanding a minimalist yet exquisite retro visual representation. The design style should avoid being overly childlike, yet colors can be vibrant and luxurious. Additionally, the visuals should not be too flashy, with controlled pacing of animation elements to align with the brand's positioning.

Combining gouache and crayon brush effects with beveling techniques to create clean and sophisticated retro-style strokes.
结合水粉和蜡笔笔刷效果,采用斜面技术,创造出简洁而精致的复古风格笔触。 
Model Creation 模型制作
Autodesk Maya
Utilizing Maya's advanced 3D animation tools to construct pigeon and flower models. Adding skeletons and controllers to the pigeon model to create a looping flight animation. Employing blendshape and model instancing techniques to achieve dynamic blooming effects for the flowers. 
运用Maya的高级三维动画工具,构建鸽子和花朵模型。为鸽子模型添加骨骼和控制器,创建循环飞行动画。使用blendshape和模型实例化技术,实现花朵开放的动态效果。 
Animation Integration 动画整合
Unreal Engine
Integrating all visual elements through animation sequences. Applying post-processing materials and fine parameter adjustments, along with unique material blueprints, to achieve stylized 2.5D visual effects. Combining hand-drawn illustration lines, preserving light and color, to enhance visual appeal. Using the Niagara system to set up emitter and receiver mesh for transition effects, achieving smooth visual transitions through the material's fading and emergence.
通过动画序列,整合所有视觉元素。应用后期处理材质和精细的参数调整,以及独特的材质蓝图,实现风格化的2.5D视觉效果。结合手绘插画线条,保留光线色彩,增强视觉吸引力。利用Niagara系统,为过渡特效设置发射和接收网格,通过材质的渐隐和显现,完成平滑的视觉过渡。 
Reflections 感悟
In this project, I explored new technologies such as model instancing and Niagara system transition effects. Technology is the foundation for realizing creativity, while aesthetics and culture are key to elevating the work. I will continue to strive for technical refinement and aesthetic distillation to achieve a balance between art and technology.
在这次创作中,我实践了新技术,如模型实例化和Niagara系统的过渡特效。技术是实现创意的基础,而审美和文化是提升作品的关键。我将继续在技术精进和审美提炼上努力,以达到艺术与技术的平衡。
