Swayze TV
"I go by Mr. Swayze, Swayze for short. A Brooklyn born native with a lot on his mind...I do not report news, I simply give my out look and opinions on different topics in the media ... My goal is too entertain you with a Satirical style of humor and hopefully make you think"

During the Covid Pandemic (2020), I was commissioned to design graphics for the merchandise of “Swayze TV,” a popular media channel based in New York. At that time a dark age was emerging from the city, reminding me of Batman's Gotham City. Due to a abnormal rise in criminal/gang activity, chaos, and tragedies in the state of New York, the channel quickly gained popularity by providing consistent updates in community affairs, music culture and inner city politics. As graphic designer, my main objective was translating the channel’s identity and content into visually appealing products that resonate with its fan base. This includes creating eye-catching graphics, relatable apparel designs, and captivating packaging that not only reflect the channel’s unique personality but also speak to the inside jokes and preferences of its viewers. The channel inside coined phrases such as "Thuggin N' Buggin" and "YTK" Whether it’s designing t-shirts, hats, or accessories, each graphic element must align with the channel’s aesthetic and messaging to ensure brand consistency and recognition. Additionally, staying updated on design trends and consumer preferences is crucial for producing merchandise that not only stands out but also drives sales and fosters a deeper connection between the audience and the Swayze TV brand.
