This was a project for my Graphic Design curriculum where we had to use graphs to convey information. I chose to bring awareness to the suffering of Afghan refugees. Printed out, this poster is roughly 2ft. x 4ft.. However, since this was done in Illustrator and InDesign this size can be modified.

Below is some of the process in creating this poster. I went through a couple of roughs before going with this subtle gradient in the final form. At first, I thought it would have been cool to have the countries in the background with red being a prominent color. I stuck with red as I wanted this poster to convey a sense of urgency and dread, but I decided to not have the countries in the background so the text, graphs, etc. would be able to be read without so many distractions.
