PROJECT BRIEF
For this Experimental Typography Website there was many steps through out this project. It was first started as a Type Trash Analog project; bringing in trash from everyday life and creating a layout that is type focused. Next was exporting all the photos from the Type Trash Analog designs and working with some Adobe Photoshop magic to create abstract layouts for the Typography Website. After designing the website was now the consideration of designing the motion graphic that is to be placed in the website. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and gathering all the assets used for the website helped create a 15 second motion graphic. Lastly after all assets had been considered into the website next step was now creating some small T-shirt mockups and Zine mockups; using either the same assets used for motion video/website or creating new ones. All is now gathered down into a Behance Website for viewing and gathering into everything in one spot.
PROCESS SECTION
For the process I gathered a lot of everyday trash like packages, trash bags, and some printed photos, that were meant for a wall collage but I never got to it. I did want to light things on fire too! So using safety precautions and water I lit a few packaging bags and photo cards and used them as part of my Type Analog design. As for the letters I did cut them out on scrap acrylic using an engraver from my work, I just cut random letters. Lastly I spent 1-2 hours messing around with all my tools and created multiple Analog Trash Type designs and took lots of photos along with doing a Timelapse recording of me working. Recording and documenting along the way was important for creating Website and Video it is assets that can be used all around for the project.
