Trapist is the new festival that has conquered its space in the trap scene and in the Brazilian entertainment market. The production and direction were signed by Groove Urbano and CB Produções, which of course, showed what they do best! There was no way it wasn't incredible, the festival brought names like Matuê, Veigh, Hariel, Teto, Derek and Yunk Vino.

That said, let's go back to the beginning. What is this "Trapist" called? Phonetics immediately connects with your audience, there is a play on English grammar of prominence and superiority, but there is much more to its origins. TRAPPIST-1 is the name of a red star in the constellation Aquarius, 40 light years away from Earth. Observed since the end of the 1990s, it fascinates scientists from all over the world because, despite being "small" (the size of Jupiter), it is “home” to not just one or two, but seven planets. It raises hopes, instigates curiosity and makes us think about the universe, the unknown, the infinite.

URBAN
CONTEMPORARY
STRONG

The challenge of this identity was to create an ecosystem capable of visually translating all this power that the name and culture carry. Looking now from a more aesthetic perspective, I chose to use a high contrast design language to convey the brand's urban, contemporary and strong characteristics. In the creative process, from crafting to the layout of design concepts, the contrast is evident in everything, in the choice of font (slightly wide sans serif), in the colors, textures and proportions.
