The First Letter of Saint Peter is a typographic book based on the text of 1 Peter from the Holy Bible. The book is inspired by my own Catholic faith and my love for typography, both of which developed immensely during my undergrad. It combines historic blackletter and serif typefaces with contemporary layout styles through unique spread designs to illustrate my own typographic skills as a graphic designer. I took inspiration from medieval Biblical manuscripts and contemporary Bible designers Nic Fredrickson and Michael Stevens (Word on Fire Bible) and typographic artist Phil Baines.
