This assignment was to digital paint a movie poster. We also had to redesign the movie poster. I chose the movie monster inc because I liked the movie growing up and thought it wouldn’t be too hard to paint. It was a very time consuming project and it didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to but I still like it. I wish I would have painted Sulley better, I found a downloadable brush that was supposed to look like hair or fur but I don’t really think it does. Mike took a lot of detail and I’m very happy with the way he turned out. For the font we were required to paint it as well. I turned this painting into a mockup. My goal was for it to look like a movie poster that you would see for advertising. I found a poster image and inserted my image of the movie poster and then added a filter to make it blend in.
