In this frame artwork, I was tasked with telling a story in a unique manner. I chose to narrate the tale of the crow and the stone. However, I introduced a twist by coloring the bird yellow and using entirely different hues not conventionally associated with the story. Furthermore, I arranged the artwork upside down, intending to encourage viewers to approach it from a different perspective and to keenly observe the details in order to decipher the underlying story. This approach aligns with IBM's directive to approach everything differently and encourages observers to engage in thoughtful observation.
In this frame, I reimagined the traditional story of the Honest Woodcutter to convey a different message. Instead of the woodcutter receiving a golden axe, I depicted spirits holding a sign saying 'No More Axes,' urging against tree-cutting. I intentionally used an obvious style to depict the twisted story, aligning with IBM's goal of promoting environmental awareness through storytelling.
Thank you!
