THE BRIEF
Aqium had experienced record sales after the first year of the pandemic and had ambitious sales targets to meet for the coming year. They wanted to invest in a sports partnership to continue growing awareness and keep the brand top of mind amid a number of new competitors looking to capitalise on the current climate.
THE IDEA
Our Sport and Entertainment team proposed and negotiated a sponsorship with the AFL and the North Melbourne Football Club for the 2021 season. This involved in-stadium and staff branding, activations, signage, exclusive distribution, digital content creation and access to players for ambassador purposes.
THE EXECUTION
I was responsible for project managing the entire partnership alongside our Sport and Entertainment Director. I worked closely with the client, media and creative teams to ensure alignment across all partnership activity. I was also required to provide strategic oversite with the AFL to ensure they delivered best value and upheld all criteria from the partnership scope.
