Honey Nut Cheerios Packaging Redesign

Transforming a classic cereal brand into a modern masterpiece: how I achieved a fresh and vibrant redesign for Honey Nut Cheerios.

Task: The task for this project was to redesign the packaging for Honey Nut Cheerios cereal, with the goal of making it more appealing and attractive to customers, while still maintaining the brand equity and recognition of the product.

Solution: To achieve this, I focused on making the packaging more lively and eye-
catching, while staying true to the current style of the product. I incorporated a bright effect in the cardboard cereal box packaging, which helps to draw customers in and give the product a more vibrant and appealing look. I also reorganized and rearranged other elements of the previous design, while still maintaining the recognizable Cheerios logo and the iconic yellow color.

Process: The process for this redesign involved first conducting a thorough analysis of the current packaging design, as well as researching the target audience and current market trends. From there, I developed several concepts for the new packaging design, taking into account the brands needs and preferences. After narrowing down the options and refining the chosen design, I worked on producing the final packaging design, ensuring that all necessary elements were in place and the design was consistent across all products.

Overall, my redesign for the Honey Nut Cheerios packaging successfully achieved the goal of making the product more appealing and attractive to customers, while still maintaining the brand equity and recognition of the product. The bright effect and reorganization of design elements helped to draw in customers and give the product a more modern and vibrant look.
