To promote a conceptual music event, the project called for a promotional poster that included a custom photo treatment. While there was an actual event called Electric Desert at the Desert Botanical Gardens, the Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayham band concert was fictional but appropriate to the theme. The photo of the colorfully illuminated cactus was modified in Adobe Photoshop and used as a background. A rounded font was incorporated into the headline, edited and colored to appear as a neon lighted sign which pulls from the color of the lights on the cactus image. The text color scheme reflects the colors in the DBG logo colors.
