My husband`s grandmother was a woman from Gilan region whom we all called her «Aziz». In her youth, like many other dear grandmothers, she was busy embroidering on different fabrics like tablecloths and bedclothes. I was lucky she had gifted me some of these beautiful and valuable embroideries. Observing so much beauty in the simplicity of her designs made me think of producing a collection with these designs under the name «Aziz». I wanted to remain her and many grandmothers› memories alive in my works and pay tribute to them.
