Graduation Project (2021)
"We are part of our Planet"
'NAME SPACE' is an interactive media art
using big data of traditional korean name Id called 'Jokbo'
We have collected and arranged
about 300 surnames in Korea
and then scattered them by using our own data algorithm
when the audience fills in the box
with their name and the family origin together
the name particle will appear and freely fly over space
and find a place at the end of its own 'Jokbo'
to become a part of our media art.

NAME SPACE는 한국 고유 성씨 데이터 족보를 사용한
빅데이터 기반 인터렉션 미디어아트입니다.
족보의 한 갈래 중 하나인 상계계보도 300여개를 직접 모아서 정리하고
자체 제작한 알고리즘을 통해
데이터를 흩뿌려 시각화를 진행했습니다.
Name space 창에서 본관과 이름을 입력한 후,
submit 버튼을 누르면 파티클이 등장해 자유롭게 부유하다
자신의 족보를 찾아가 그 족보 뒤에 붙어 작품의 일부가됩니다.
