Background: In June 2020, National Geographic wanted to leverage World Environment Day to start a conversation about the problems that were drowned out by the pandemic's massive media coverage. The key issues included endangered animals and global warming.
The Concept: Together With Nature
During this time video calling had become a part of 'the new normal' and Zoom had recently introduced backgrounds. We saw this as an opportunity to use video call backgrounds as media space. And that's how our idea was born - a series of wallpapers talking about environmental concerns that people could use as Zoom backgrounds during video calls.

It started important conversations and a year later, we won a Silver at Olive Crown Awards.
