University Assignment - Audiobook Excerpt

This project was focused on creating an audiobook experience, using a book excerpt of your choice, and narrating it. You would then, similar to those on Audible, record and add sounds and environmental noises to enhance the listening experience and create a more immersive piece.
My book choice was The Call of Cthulhu, by H.P Lovecraft. I was drawn to this after searching several different books for several reasons, most importantly the action during the excerpt, and the sounds described in the passage.
I wanted to use sounds to create an atmosphere that something huge was coming, using low-frequency sounds to convey size.
This project was a mix of self-recorded and free-to-use commercial sounds online, for harder to re-create sounds. It was edited using Audacity, and used several effects such as Reverb, Paulstretch, EQ and distortion.
