So starting at the top of the year, I left my job in retail to be hired into the design team for CNN's streaming service CNN+. Of course, the service would eventually be prematurely shutdown due to the Warner/Discovery merger, but it in no way negates the hard work the design team put into it these last few months. 
BONUS: One of our first assignments were to design the logo for what would eventually be for anchor Chris Wallace's show on the streaming service. Here were a few of the ideas that I brought to the table. None of them were picked unfortunately but it was a great chance to tune up my logo designing skills.
