Originally serving as an entry point for the Gulf’s most significant pearl diving port, the Creek’s legendary presence can still be felt here today, as fisherman and merchants navigate the calm waters in sleek dhows each day. Famous for its waterfront promenade and inspiring Emirati heritage, the Al Seef DSF Market is packed with fun activities, workshops and live entertainment.
Dubai Shopping Festival, in partnership with Dubai Holding Asset Management organize an annual festival, and requested designing visuals to be projected on this old-world district’s walls. and amazing fireworks.
For their 2021 edition, the theme of the market was centered around the act of ‘merging the old with the new’ and celebrates the spirit of passing Emirati heritage down from generation to generation. Four projections on the old town's murals were designed reflecting UAE's heritage. Each piece tells the story of rich traditions and culture of pearl fishing, horses, Dubai's famous Frame, eagles, and desert camping.
