Project :
Design a retail space for a high-end (Diesel) men’s apparel flagship store.
 
Design Concept :
The concept for the Diesel’s retail space is to design an  innovative mix of industrial architecture fixtures and luxury finishes. This mix will cause the space to appear trendy, urban, and industrial.  The concept of the space is to resemble a factory, therefore the assembly line ideologue will play well into this concept. Unique industrial displays will bring personality and enhance  Diesel‘s trendy style.

The circulation of the floor plan is mainly based off of the idea of the assembly line which is a manufacturing process in which interchangeable parts are added to a product in a sequential manner. Using optimally planned logistics help to create a finished product much faster than handcrafting-type methods.

Main Level Entry Area
This retail space is designed to mimic an industrial factory. Although the space feels very mechanized, the contrast between the very hard industrial interior and the refined masculine clothing, helps create a unique and distinctive backdrop to this store. An open functional  floor plan, exposed bricks, and beams, as well as the interior finishes help define the space.
Shoe and Accessory Area
The Diesel shoe display area is designed to show case Diesel’s exciting shoe line. The luxurious finishes emphasize the brand’s high-end quality and style.
 
 
VIP / Mezzanine Area
This section is private and located on the second level mezzanine. The sitting area is used by customers waiting for the changing room or the on-site tailor. Professionally framed clothing line photos are hung here in order to advertise and unify the space
