STEEL FREEDOM architectural student competition 2021
The project concept is based on four provisions:
Arts & Manufacturing: a creative workshops for artists, sculptors, photographers, potters, designers, musicians and other craftsmen.
Education: workshops, seminars, lectures, trainings, etc., which can take place in the space of the console library, lecture hall.
Expo space: space for exhibitions, performances and theater performances on the 1st floor.
Commerce: rental of workshops and coworking spaces, exhibition spaces and other premises, workshops, shops, food courts, etc.
The cultural center was designed as part of a competition for the Novy Podil residential complex, based on the concept of building a project district. The building consists of two main objects - a "cube" and a "ramp". The "ramp" is a communication space for recreation, acquaintance and contemplation of the waterfront, and the "cube" - an active space with production and educational creative processes.
