The goal for this project was to form a collage out of many different variations of the blue hue which includes tints, shades, and tones so I used many paint chips as my main material. In regards to emotion, blue can represent sadness or coldness. The artwork is sharp and cold like glass or like the energy of a storm, yet is sad because the person underneath the umbrella yearns for protection in a scene of chaos. The artwork is important in how I want to inspire others through art. Despite lacking words, a viewer is able to find their own words within the abstracted collage.
