One June day I impulsively bought a round trip ticket for Orlando, Florida to escape the lackluster weather. That Thursday at work prior to taking off for the Airport I was trying to find a way to kill two birds with one stone, take a vacation and gather content for our company. After searching through our customers we found Josh, a Florida resident. Our social media rep quickly hopped into his DM's asking where he was located and if he would be down for a photoshoot.
A few minuets later he responded where he was at, so happens that's exactly the beach I was going to. Of course, he said yes, who is going to deny free photos of your car.
After a bumpy flight, minimal sleep, and a 5:30 AM wake-up call I was Cocoa Beach bound. After driving with the windows down, we climbed the top of a parking garage and meet up with Josh. After hanging out for a few moments, I busted out the camera and got to work. I quickly realized I was working against the sun instead of with it.
We pulled up Google Maps and found a jetty a few miles down the road and paid the park entry to get in. By this time we were well into late morning and everyone was starting to show up for their beach day. A dash of patience and quick direction later, I had him pulling into spots, snapping photos and onto the next one. 20 short minuets later we had a whole collection of photos ready to go.
I wished Josh safe travels back home before he started his shift that day and went down to the beach. I ended up as red as his car was that day. It involved me extending my stay by 4 days and soaking up every ounce of Orlando weather and culture.
