Punch! The Game - Trailer
Punch! The game is a crowdfunding project that was realized in 2021. Punch is a party game where you need to catch your opponent in the time limit.
Challenges
The most difficult part of the project was to create a trailer that showcases all the fun and environment of the game without any voice over, just graphics and music.
Music
Music by the way was a challenge too. In the begging I got some inspiration from games like Fall Guys, Gang Beats and I notice that all the trailers from those games have a groove/funky music, since Punch is a party game pretty similar to these games I followed this path with some groovy and funky beats, having always attentions to the flip the music in key moments of the video.
Graphics
The graphics from this video are simple, but I need to keep the vibe from the cartoon/animation, so I decided to use some fire and ice elements. The ice fits pretty well because in the game there's a mode called freeze where you need to freeze your opponent.
SFX
The best part of the graphics was finding the perfect Sounds Effects to match the Graphics (and the game). Since the game was a Beta version they don't have Original Sounds that I can use, so we improvised.
