Steve Jobs Collectible Publication (Fall 2021)
The project guidelines were to create an experimental collectible publication on the speech of our choice. My concept for my collectible was based on a quote from Steve Jobs Graduation Speech speech, “Again, you can’t connect the dots looks forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that they will somehow connect in your future”. I interpreted this into my concept as when you are going through life and the current situation is happening, it doesn’t make sense in the moment why it is happening to you but when you keep going and push through and look back on it in the future you will understand why that happened to you in your life because you wouldn’t be where you are right now. When you are going through a tough time in your life you wonder, “why is this happening to me”, “this doesn’t make sense, why me?”, it all seems confusing and slightly frustrating which reflects my imagery design.
