DISO 2510 | disruptive beauty

Explanation in english:
The aim was to explore materials that generated pigment, for us to have a starting point and some inspiration, in order to give rise to possible work scenarios with the chosen medium. We had to develop a handmade alphabet and a graphic line that would help us with the communication of the chosen topic. We decided to experiment with different make-up elements to test textures, colors and shapes, in order to begin to identify the personality of the typography. We ended up choosing a lipstick that generated imperfect finishes, irregular lines and a unique texture, that made us think of a disruptive makeup line and the possibility of creating a new trend of imperfect beauty. Over the years, society has determined a stereotype of beauty that is not always realistic. Makeup is present in a world in which perfection is related to careful and rigorous aesthetics in which there is no room to break the rules. Through our project called Disruptive Beauty, we want to show the creation process in which mistakes are valid and in which going outside the beauty standards set by society, allows us to realize that there are infinite perceptions of what is beautiful and that what is really important is to discover our own essence.
