Camera Mapping Experiments

This project was very much inspired by the work of Dirk Koy - I love the way he abstracts the form of real world objects through the VFX technique of camera mapping (also known as camera projection).

This particular building is local to me, and has always intrigued me with its abstract, snake-like, exterior decoration. I wanted to play around with the form of the building by morphing this decoration and giving it a life of its own. I filmed the footage on my phone, so it's not the highest quality - but it turned out better than I expected. 😅

This is my second time using camera mapping.
The first time I used it was to create the video below which went... semi-viral. 🤷
