Hi everyone, today is my illustration project which I got from my client to make an illustration design for the e-toll card, notebook, and instagram post. 

First my lecturer asked me to design an e-toll illustration with the theme of the Indonesian archipelago, he asked me to raise a legendary mythological creature. Through my research, I took a popular mythological creature in Bali, namely the Naga Basuki.

The reason for taking the dragon basuki as an illustration is because the dragon basukih has a philosophical meaning as a symbol of the balance of cycles that occur in nature. The water evaporates from the sea and falls to the earth to become rain on the mountains (land) which eventually returns to the sea. This philosophy is closely related to beliefs and circumstances of the environment on my island.

3. E-toll card Sketch

at this stage I was asked to perfect the shape and finish from the sketch to the finished illustration

this is a form of illustration that has been perfected and finished. in this instagram post, there are several paragraphs in each post that contain the meaning of preserving the environment in accordance with the philosophy. To be able to reach the desired audience, I inserted some Balinese in several posts.

In the illustration design deliberately uses a pink background, because pink is an attractive color and gives an enthusiastic impression, besides that, the consideration of choosing a pink background color is so that the color does not appear to collide with other colors so that all the color components in the illustration are clear, comfortable to see , and not very sharp.

after the illustration results are shown and the client is satisfied with the results, the final stage of the application stage.
