Ernst Jandl was an Austrian poet, writer and translator. His sound poems are characterized by playing with language and the frequent abandonment of linguistic meaning. Only through the lecture they develop their special effectiveness. 

The booklet deals with the pronunciation and the sound of the poem "Die Klinke des pinguins". The special thing about this poem is the constant repetition and ranking the same words in different compositions. Only articles and prepositions are added and removed. The poem is translated into phonetic transcription and forces the reader to read slowly and consciously.
