The original Best Buy Mobile Store concept was a joint venture between Best Buy USA and Carphone Warehouse UK. The initial rollout of Best Buy Mobile stores in Canada were based on that prototype.
Wanting a new design to reflect the unique conditions of the Canadian Cell Phone market, several new design concepts were developed and iterated on. The fast moving pace of the product category demanded a modular approach to fixture design.
