CLASSICAL BOOK
For this project at University of Missouri at St. Louis, we were tasked with creating a new, illustrated version of the common read at UMSL, Freedom is a Constant Struggle, by Angela Davis. In order to help this book be more digestible to the reader, I focused on sections of the book where Davis talks about why global movements need to support each other in order to help get her message across. Using shortened sections, word definitions, and quotes from other activists and important figures, I created Continental Kinship.
DIGITAL BOOK VERSION
The second part of this project was the create a digital book experience. Using ReadyMag, I created an interactive reading experience to engage the audience for desktop. For mobile, I used Adobe XD to prototype.
