BASF brand transformation: Crowdsourcing & Growth hack

June 2018: This was a great offline-to-online (O2O) brand activation by Freeman China. To help BASF stand out in one of its most important B2B trade show in Asia, we showcased its crowdsourcing collaborative process in many unique ways. Besides working with its clientele to create new product prototypes such as electric cars, robot arms. However, all these collaboration was meant to drive the central idea which was to bring BASF's brand positioning to life i.e. "We make chemistry". To light up this idea, we engaged a Shanghai based designer to work with BASF to create a futuristic fashion line using cutting edge plastic materials from BASF. This won a lot of media attention and BASF later re-used the same idea later that year for a global event.
