Majority of every day at my parental home pre and during the lockdown period looks like this. It has not been much of a difference in my personal life till the super cyclone hit Bengal when I have water leaking from the terrace which drenches me now as I sit in the same position, reading books, smoking Js or just contemplating for hours inside the restroom which also serves as a bathroom and shower . As a kid, I seldom had to mug up just before the exams...and guess what, this was and is still my favourite space to remember and recollect. My favourite hiding and sulking place too.
I talk to a better version of myself here. She knows my sorrows and all the shortcomings only to share with the mirror overlooking her.
